Services for Ben Cannon, 71, Hopkinsville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Junior Heltsley Officiating. Burial will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery, Visitation will be after 5 this afternoon.
He died at 5 p.m. Sunday at his home of natural causes. A native of Todd County, he ws born July 24, 1926 the son of the late Leslie Vance and Rener Crowley Cannon. He was a retired mechanic and was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Fletcher-Cannon, Two sons, Jimmy Cannon, Elkton, Gene Cannon, Hopkinsville, two daughters, Elizabeth Chezem, Adams, Tenn., and Darlene Rose, Olmstead, a brother, John L. Cannon, Louisville, a sister, Mrs Buren "Ruth" Hurt, Elkton, a half sister, Rebecca Cannon, Elkton; 10 Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Died Wednesday 5 February 1964 at her home.
Born in Christian Co., daughter of Henry C. and Alice Boyd Myers.
Member of Bethel Baptist Church at Fairview.
Preceded in death by a son, Clifton Rice Cannon who died in 1955.
Survivors: husband, Clifton; son, Charlie Cannon with whom she made her home; two daughters, Mrs. Laud Jordan of Trigg Co. and Mrs. Clarence West of Hopkinsville; a brother, Clay Myers of Fairview; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Services: Friday 7 February 1964, burial in Rosedale Cem., Pembroke. Henninger Funeral Home.

Clifton (Dude) Cannon, 79, Fairview, Ky.
Died Wednesday 4 November 1964 at the home of his son, Charlie Cannon.
born in Christian Co., son of W. M. and Georgia Young Cannon.
Retired farmer. Member of Bethel Baptist Church, operated a milk truck route for Borden Food Co. for many years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Hallie Myers Cannon, who died last February. Son, Clifton Rice Cannon, died in a traffic accident in 1955.
Survivors: besides the son, two daughters, Mrs. Laud Jordan of Trigg Co. and Mrs. Clarence West of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Guy Cannon of Hopkinsville and E. P. Cannon of Dearborn, Mich.; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Services: Friday 6 November 1964, burial in Rosedale Cem., near Pembroke. Henninger Funeral Home.

March 19, 1999 - Pennyrile Deaths
EVANSVILLE, md. — Connie Cannon, 58, Evansville, formerly of Hopkinsvile, Ky., died of an apparent heart attack at 12:28 p.m. Wednesday at Welborn Baptist Hospital, Evansville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in the Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 tonight at the Alexander West Chapel.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born Dec. 26, 1940, the daughter of Ruby Cannon, Evansville. and the late Jewel! Cannon.
In addition to her mother, survivors include two brothers, Ernest and Danny Joe Cannon, both of Evansville; and three sisters, Pamela Pillow and Elizabeth Cannon, both of Evansville, and Dana Koman, Boynton Beach,

Elkton, Ky. James Benjamin Cannon, 71, Hopkinsville, and formerly of Elkton, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at his home of natural causes.

JAMES E. CANNON

Services for James Earl Cannon, 64, Overby Lane, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time for the service Wednesday at the church. Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He died Sunday June 7, 1998 at his home following a long illness.

A native of Todd County, he was born Feb. 16, 1934, the son of the late Mearl and Nunnie Gibson Cannon. He was a farmer. His wife, Ruby Cannon, died in 1997, and a daughter, Debbie Raymer, died in 1992.

Survivors include a son, Larry Cannon, Pembroke; a daughter, Rosemary Willis, Fairview; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 



MARY DELL GUIER CANNON

Mary Dell Guier Cannon, 78, Cadiz, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday at Shady Lawn Nursing Center, Cadiz, of natural causes. Burial will be in Lawrence Cemetery.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Sept, 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Willie M. and Julia Burnett Guier. She had previously worked at the Economy Cee Bee. A former member of the New Hope Baptist Church, she was currently a member of the East Cadiz Baptist Church. Her husband, Lacy Lloyd Cannon, died in 1987. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Richard Cannon, and a daughter, JoAnn Cannon.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Cannon, Cadiz; a daughter, Mrs. Bud (Martha Joyce) ricks, Somerset; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

MURRY CANNON

Murry Cannon, 83, Isom Road, died Friday,
             Feb. 11, 2000, at his home following a long
             illness.

             Services were to have been at 2 this afternoon at
             Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with Larry Gibson
             officiating. Burial was to be in Hale Cemetery.

             A native of Christian County, he was born Jan. 7,
             1917, the son of the late Harvey and Ollie Rogers
             Cannon. He was a retired farmer and oil driller
             and was retired from Sweeney Drilling Co. He
             was a member of the Bluff Springs Church of
             Christ.

             Survivors include his wife, Estine Isom Cannon; a
             son, William R. Cannon, Brigham City, Utah; two
             daughters, Margaret Outlaw, Bluff Springs, Betty
             Nichols, Hernando, Miss.; 10 grandchildren, 19
             great-grandchildren and one
             great-great-grandchild.
