BURNAM
PHYLLIS K. BURNAM
Our Darling Phyllis
On Thursday night Feb 24 at 10 o'clock the dark angels of death visited the home of Mr and Mrs Sam BURNAM and took
from us our darling baby girl Phyllis K. She had been with us only five months, nine days, had made life worth double it's time.
Little Phyllis had colitis and pneumonia. All was done that loving hands could do. The Drs and nurses did all they could for her, but it was not in our power it was left with God, his will be done not ours. For some cause God saw fit to take her from this life of suffering and trouble back to him who gave the life to rest in peace through eternity. We cannot understand why God saw fit to take her home, but God Giveth and God taketh. She had a smile for everyone. You could pass by her and she always had a smile for us. Oh how we loved our little darling. Every one on this earth knows she can not come back to us but we can go to her. Besides her parents she leaves four brothers and two sister's a twin Willis Nay, Carl, Ray, Samie, Lil, two sisters, Shirley Mae and Jean. She was laid to rest at the Sivils graveyard Friday afternoon about 2:30.
