PALMER K. BUCKLESPalmer K. Buckles of 303 Hancock St. died at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla., after becoming ill Friday while attending a seminar at Oral Roberts University.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, a retired representative of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and a former board member of the American Red Cross.
He is survived by his wife, Lila Toy Buckles; one stepdaughter, Carolyn L Toy of Louisville; one stepson, William O. Toy of Evansville; and three step-grandchildren.
The body will be returned to Henderson, where funeral arrangements are pending.
