ANNIE LUCILLE BROOKS
EVANSVILLE - Annie Lucille Brooks, 75, 606 Bayard Park Drive, died at 5:03 p.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospital. A Cairo native, Mrs. Brooks was a member of the Church of god of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Gallespa Brooks of Evansville and Thomas Jacob Brooks of Indianapolis; two daughters, Gonzella Butler of Inkster, Mich.; six grand
children and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

CHARLEY T. BROOKS

Services held Saturday for Charley T. Brooks. - Charley T. BROOKS, 71 year old resident of the Breton community died early last Thursday, January 5 at his home on Sebree, Route 3. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Sebree Christian Church where he served on the official board for seven years.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; one son, Texal; one brother, Roy BROOKS, El Cajon, Calf. One sister, Mrs. Murphy MELTON and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Sebree Christian Church with Rev. B. L. Sales and Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Interment was in Springdale Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were, Ralph Majors, Ted Majors, Milton Ashby, Voren Royster, James Lynch and Clay Parker. Active pallbearers were, Jimmy Henry, Maurice Melton, and Lloyd Williams. James Qualls, Marshall Qualls and Jeffery Williams, Jr. (1895-1967, Sebree Banner year 1967.)


GRACE ELIZABETH BROOKS

Service held for Mrs. Grace BROOKS. Mrs. Grace Elizabeth (WILLIAMS) BROOKS, 71 year old resident of Route 2, Sebree was found dead in her home Monday morning around 7:30, by her son Texal. Deputy coroner, Paul Tompkins ruled death was from natural caused ans stated that she had been dead since about 8:30 Sunday night.
She is survived by her son, Texal; a brother Gus WILLIAMS of Madisonville and a sister, Mrs. Hallie BYRUM of Slaughters. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Sebree Christian Church with Rev. B. L. Sales and Rev. Paul Gray officiating, Interment was in Springdale.
Active pallbearers were Murphy Melton, Fred Creasy, Philip Kohl. Leamon Chamberland, D. L. Bryant, Hugb B. Majors and Von T. Shelton. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Majors. Milton Ashby, Ted Majors, James Lynch, John P. Baily and Henry Chamberlain. (1897-1969) Sebree Banner 1969

Double Funeral Held In Lyon County
A double funeral was held at New Bethel Lyon county, when the body of Mrs. Harriet Brooks, aged ninety nine, and that of her son in law, Thomas Easley aged eighty four, who died at Sturgis, were buried. They were former residents of the Fredonia Valley section in that county. Their deaths occurred within a few hours of each other.

LEOTA BROOKS

             MADISONVILLE, Ky. -- Leota Brooks, 84,
             Madisonville, died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday,
             March 16, 2000, at her home of natural causes.

             Services were this morning at Barnett-Strother
             Funeral Home, with Philip Bennett and Bill Gaines
             officiating. Burial was to be in Forest Lawn
             Memorial Gardens.

             A native of Bluff Springs in Christian County, she
             was born March 9, 1916, the daughter of the late
             Benjamin Malbert and Alice Opal Mullennix
             Wicks. Her husband, Maurice Brooks, died in
             1993. She was parts changer for Chicago
             Communications and was a member of the
             Earlington General Baptist Church.

             She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Ann
             Pelikan, Madisonville; three grandchildren and six
             great-grandchildren.

             Memorials may be made to the Green River
             Hospice, Earlington General Baptist Church or the
             Victory General Baptist Church, Hanson.


MARY ELIZABETH BROOKS

Mary Elizabeth BEOOKS, 74, of 207 Barker Road, was dead on arrival at Community Methodist Hospital Sunday night.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole TOW of Henderson; two sons, Eddie Brooks of West Frankford, Ill., and Bill Herry BROOKS Jr. of Henderson; one sister, Lucy CRENSHAW of Henderson; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunk Funeral Home with the Rev. John Conn officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Fridays may call at the funeral home anytime.

PARKER H. BROOKS

SEBREE - Parker H. Brooks, 73, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Community Methodist Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; two daughters, Sue Alstadt of Sebree, and Ann --kins of Pinckneyville, Ill; one son Ronald of Slaughters; two step-daughters, Frances Daniel and Ruth Taylor, both of Sebree; six step-sons, J. E. Springfield of Henderson, David, Frank and Edward Springfield, all of Sebree, Timmy Slaughters, and Herbert Springfield of Clarksville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and 19 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tompkins and Son Sebree Chapel with minister B. F. Majors and Thornton Stanley officiating, Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

ROBERT L. BROOKS

Robert L. BROOKS, of 102 E. Missouri St., died at his home at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, following a lingering illness. He was 72.
Surviving are his wife, Nola BROOKS; daughters, Mrs. Hubert CRABTREE, Henderson, Ky., Mrs. Carson HERRRIN, Slaughters, Ky.; sons, Cecil at home and Conrad, Earlington, Ky.; brothers, G. E. BROOKS of Arizona and Jessie BROOKS of Mr. Vernon, Ill.; sister Mrs. Fannie BRYANT, Sebree, Ky. Thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

TONEY BROOKS
Tony Brooks, 72, of Corydon died at 1:45 a.m. Friday at Community Methodist Hospital.
He was a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church and Eureka Lodge Number 99.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille, five daughters, Susan Bonn of Northington, N. J., Stella Carter, Sarah Posey and Rosetta Aenett, all of Corydon and Mary Ruth Willett of Morganfield; four sons, Joe Nell of Henderson, Charles and Earnest of Corydon, and Tony of Waverly; six sisters, Mary Howard, Sarah Brooks of Cleveland, Ohio, Curry Oberton of Detroit, Mich., Paula Brooks, Mandy McKinsly and Amanda Brank, all of Henderson; one brother, Louis of Henderson; 30 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being completed at Reeder's Funeral Home.

EVANSVILLE - William Lee Brooks. 58, of Evansville, formerly of Henderson, died Wednesday at Welborn Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday from Watkins Temple Church of God in Christ with the rev. B. L. Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
