Coella Baker Braboy Dies In March 12 Mayfield
Coella Baker BRABOY, died at the Fuller Gillam Hospital in Mayfield at 4:30 p.m. March 12, 1944. She was the daughter of the late H.W. and Mary T. BAKER.
She had been ill for some months, but loved ones and friends hoped for her recovery.
She was united in marriage to Lacy Braboy April 19, 1929. To this union were born three children, R.H., Lawrence and Jane.
She had been a faithful member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church since childhood. She was a devoted wife and mother and was
loved by all of her associates. She will be missed by her loved ones, her church, and her friends. Besides her husband and children.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs Mollie Baker and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs Oakie Allen, Mrs R.W.
Lancaster and Miss Edna Baker all of Cadiz, Tom, Marvin and Alec all of Cadiz and Jesse Baker of Hopkinsville, an aunt,
Mrs Tissue Lampkins.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Guess, her pastor, officiating. Pallbearers were Graden Parker, Malcolm Roberts, Carl Noel, Rudolph Noel, Douglas Mize and Raymond Baker.
