BRAKE
E.L. BRAKEERNIE L. BRAKE, 75, 136 Iroquois Drive, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Born in Bardwell, Mr. Brake came to Paducah in 1901. He was a former Illinois Central Railroad engineer, having retired in 1948 after 40 years of service. He was a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineer, Division 225, and Murrell Boulevard Church of Christ.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Theo BRAKE; two sons, William C BRAKE of Paducah and Ira F. BRAKE of Pasadena, Tex; a daughter, Mrs. John MARTIN of Louisville, five granddaughters and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lindsey's Funeral Chapel with Charles Houser and Robert McGregor officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Friends May call at Lindsey's.
