"Cal Bourland is dead" was the sad intelligence that greeted the ear of the people of our town and country last Friday morning. He had died at Henderson the evening before.

CHARLES OWEN BOURLAND

Charles Owen Bourland, 64, of 577-A Lovers Lane, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Community Methodist Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Alma; one daughter, Shirley Schuessller of Henderson; three sons, Douglas Wayne, Larry and Jerry Bourland all of Henderson;
one sister, Virginia Jean Jenkins of Manassa, Va.; two brothers, John Bourland of Lexington and Foley Bourland of Germany; five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 Tuesday, with the Rev. David Bratcher officiating.
Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday at Tapp funeral Home.

Delia Bowles Bourland, 95, Crofton, Ky.
Died Sunday 18 November 1945.
Born Christian Co., daughter of David and Mary Jane Bowles.
Member of Crofton Christian Church. Widow of Joseph Bourland.
Survivors: one brother, W. D. Bowles of Hopkinsville; one grandchild in Miami, Fla.; number of nieces and nephews.
Services: Monday 19 November 1945, burial in a Crofton Cem.

CLAY - Homer H. BOURLAND, 80, of Clay, died Wednesday at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Survivors include his wife, Ella, six children, grandchildren and great-grand- children.
Services are pending at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.

MAMIE BOURLAND

Mamie Bourland, 84, of 557A Lover's Lane died at 11:30 Saturday at Community Methodist Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeanie Jenkins of Manassas, Va.; three sons, Charles of Henderson, Floey of Germany and John of Louisville; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at Tapp Funeral Home.
