Funeral services for W.W. BOGGESS, 35, Illinois Central Brakeman, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lindsey Funeral
Home with the Rev. L.W. Carlin and the Rev. Sam Sloan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Mr. Boggess was fatally injuried when he fell or was knocked from a slow moving coal car at the National Carbide plant in Calvert City Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Boggess; his father W.R. Boggess of Jacksonville, Fla; his mother, Mrs.
Iva Anderson and step-father, Charles T. Anderson of Paducah; a son Walter W. Boggess, Jr; a daughter, Anita Diane both of Paducah; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Dowell of Paducah; grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Sills of Paducah and several other relatives.
The body is at Lindsey Funeral Home. Boggess attended Paducah schools and had been an Illinois Central brakeman
for 8 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Before working for the railroad, he worked at the
drug store on Guthrie Avenue.
*Walter was the grandson of Josephine Faughn Sills the d/o John D. Faughn, both natives of Trigg County.
