BERRY
James Thurman "Jimmy" Berry, 64, Hopkinsville, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at his home following a long illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with McKinley Moore officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetary.
A native of Christian County, he was born April 20, 1934, the son of the late O.T. and Sallie Fuller Berry. He had retired from the active and reserve Army after a total of 30 years and had worked for the city of Hopkinsville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Lyle.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Charles Berry, both of the county, a daughter, Patricia Berry, Hopkinsville; a sister, Jeannine Allen, Hopkinsville and 11 grandchildren.

Jay C. Berry 44, Mel's Lane, died at 4:40 p.m. Friday at Community Methodist Hospital.
He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Powell of Elsmore, Ind., Mrs. Carolyn Todd, and Judy Nesler, both of Henderson; one son, Dick Clarence Berry of Elizabethtown; parents Mr. and Mrs. James H. Berry, of Henderson; two sisters, Dorothy Stone of Henderson and Sue Nally, of Dixon; two brothers, Jimmy Berry of Marion, and the Rev. Jesse Berry of Morganfield and one grandson.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Brastear officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Powell, John Todd, Tommy Gish, James Nally Jr. Howard Stone and Frank Stone.
