IRENE BECKNER

             PRINCETON, Ky. -- Irene Beckner, 77,
             Kuttawa, formerly of Princeton, died at 1:10
             this morning, Feb. 21, 2000, at the Hilltop Nursing
             Home, Kuttawa, following a long illness.

             Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan's
             Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.B. Jones officiating.
             Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation
             will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

             A native of Caldwell County, she was born May
             25, 1922, the daughter of the late Samuel Alfred
             and Elizabeth Thompson Beckner. She was retired
             from Cummins Frozen Food and was a member of
             the First Baptist Church, Princeton.

             She is survived by two brothers, William C.
             Beckner, Chattanooga, Tenn., and James R.
             Beckner, Princeton.

Princeton, Ky. Joyce Beckner, 75, Princeton, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday at Caldwell County Hospital folliwing a brief illiness.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Caldwell Couty, with Mike Franklin officiating. Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Funeral Home.
A native of Detroit, Mich., she was born Sept. 9, 1922. She was a homemaker and a member of the Creswell Baptist Church. Her husband, Azle Leroy Beckner, died in 1978. There are no immediate survivors.
