CHAPTER XXXIII
PROMINENT IN 1884
Citizens of Christian County Who Had Biographical Sketches in Perrin’s History of 1884.
A former history of Christian, Todd and Trigg counties was written in 1884, by William H. Perrin, of Louisville. Some three hundred pages were devoted to Christian County’s early history, and about the same space to biographical sketches of citizens of the county, living and deceased, of sufficient prominence to be given space in the old volume. Only a few of those mentioned, who were young men at the time, are now living. Many of those deceased still have descendants in the county, and many others only live in the memories of the past.
