John Elder

John Elder b. 1754 Hopewell Spring, Randolph, NC. -- d. 21 Oct. 1799 Centerville, Livingston Co., Ky.
buried at Livingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Centerville, Livingston Co., Ky. (now Caldwell Co., Ky.)

John Elder served in the milita under Capt. Elder and Col. Roebuck during 1782. In addition, he was under Col. Taylor. He married Mary Ann Morrow abt. 1778 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was born 1756 in Waxhaw, South Carolina. She died 5 Sept. 1811 in Centerville, Livingston Co., Ky.(now Caldwell Co., Ky.) and was buried in Livingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Centerville, Livingston Co., Ky. (now Caldwell Co., Ky.)
