On Sat. Feb. 16, 2008 the Fredonia Valley Heritage Society held the first of an annual genealogy seminar at Fredonia, Ky.
This seminar was geared towards beginning researchers. An informative program was given by Pam Faughn, Society President.
She discussed getting started, where to look, talking with older family members while you can, archiving the material and records that you have found.
Documenting everything you find, when and where you found it. A break for lunch and checking the offerings of various book venders before the very informative program resumed.
