The cemetery is hard to see from the road, even though it is only about
100 feet from the road to the entrance.
The iron stake had to placed there to keep people from driving into the cemetery.

Walking into the cemetery this view is on the right side of the cemetery.
Graves of Civil War veteran Nathaniel Burton Calvert and others are located here.

In the area between these stones and the fence which is farther to the right,
unmarked graves were detected while dowsing by Ken Gilkey.
This could be the section where the slaves were buried.
The tall light colored stone in the background is that of Willis & Lucy (Burton) Calvert.
Willis was a son of Spencer & Nancy (Leatherwood) Calvert
